Merry Christmas! (& update of my life)

Trying to be ulzzang but can't see my aegyo-sal cause the lighting too strong lol
So it's the 23rd of December and Christmas is in 2 more days!
Not really into the whole festive celebration this year, I didn't even set up the Christmas tree..
I don't know why but Christmas doesn't seem that special to me anymore. I usually spend Christmas with my family, having a home cooked meal etc. but then again, I don't need Christmas to remind me of how important family really is.
But thanks to those that got me Christmas presents! :D Love you guys!
Christmas also means that the year is coming to an end in a couple more days. 2012 have been a great year for me so far but it's passing by pretty quickly. And no, I didn't believe in the end of year thing on 21st.
I'm truly happy that my blog has grown together with me, that I'm finally at my final year of Polytechnic and that I'm still true to myself regardless of anything that happened.
I feel really blessed to have the sponsors, marketing managers and Nuffnang that gave me all these wonderful opportunities for my blog to grow as a Beauty and lifestyle blog.
Every year, I learn different things while growing up.
Started off 2012 with a guy right outside my door wishing me a happy new year, I still remember that memory really well and it just makes me smile whenever I think of it.
Fate has a peculiar way of dealing with things, people and relationships.
And I've came across this poem which explains things much more clearly.. Sometime I've wonder why some people are in my life, why some people leave so suddenly and why some stay in my life for a really long time. Now I know.

“Reason, Season, Lifetime” by Aleksandra Lachut

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life,
whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

So thank you to everyone who's been in my life some point of time, whether it was for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Sometimes I wish a certain relationship that I had with someone, be it friendship or work relationship, would last longer but their work is done in my life so there's no more reasons for them to stay.
I'll always be there for you all if you need me. But then again, if my work is done in your life, then just take care of yourself and be happy ^^
Always cherish the people in your life because you never know when they might be gone.
I apologize for sounding depressing when Christmas should be full of joy!
I am really happy! Honestly. Because I have someone that makes me happy ever since the first day I met him and he's such a dear to me. He makes me look forward to the future.

Few more months before I'm moving onto the next phase of my life and leaving polytechnic behind!
 I don't know why I get so many questions on what course I want to do next in University, I mean theoretically speaking that's actually none of your concern ._. But if you must know, I'm still deciding on which course to take in University, I"m not sure about that yet because even though I love Chemistry, I still need something that would give me a stable future so I'm thinking of maybe going for Accounting since I already have my Certificate in Business. Anybody taking Accounting in University willing to give me more insight on that?
I'm also thinking about pursuing music at Yong Siew Tong conservatory in Music because music is something I want to do ever since I started playing the piano and I really love classical music!
I'm the type of person that can just sit on the chair an entire day and not get bored so yeah, I prefer jobs that doesn't require me to mingle around much since I'm actually quite shy! Laboratory work like doing Research and Development is good too and I want to contribute back to the society.
My mind still isin't made up yet :/

Anyway, enjoy your holidays while they last! ^^
And have a Merry Christmas everyone!
