Mentholatum Deep Moist review

I've always been a fan of using lip balm since I tend to get really dry lips that crack easily.
It is essential that the lip balm I chose would be able to keep my lips moisturized for a really long time.
To be honest, I have tried plenty of lip balms from different brands trying to find the perfect lip balm suitable for me and so far, nothing beats my Mentholatum Lip Ice in Lemon. I love Mentholatum lip balm because they always work perfectly and it's just a little miracle in a tube! I've just finished my 5th tube of Mentholatum Lip Ice so I was really glad that I was given their Deep Moist lip balm to review!

One reason why Mentholatum makes the best lip balm:
My brother went for camp and came back with really sore, chapped lips because he didn't drink enough water and was shouting a lot during camp. Not to mention, since he was out under the sun a lot, his lips had sun-burn so it was slightly peeling too! I applied Mentholatum lip balm on him and the next day, his lips became normal and soft again! What magic is this omg!

With the current humid and hot Singapore weather, I think that everyone should carry a lip balm with them because dry and chapped lips doesn't look appealing at all.

The success of Deep Moist is due to 2 main factors, its premium hydrating ingredients at value pricing, and its elegant, ergonomic packaging design.
The Deep Moist lip balm comes in an innovative oval-shaped container design that fits the corner of the mouth well and makes it easy to apply with a single swipe. A Japanese consumer commented, “This oval-shaped design fits the corner of my mouth so well that the Deep Moist lip balm can be applied easily without affecting the foundation near my mouth.”

The key moisturizing ingredients in Deep Moist lip balms are:
Hyaluronic Acid, a premium ingredient that forms a smooth, moisture locking shield for softer, smoother lips.
It can hold 1000X its weight in water, or 6 litres of water with just 1g. Shea Butter heals the skin, and gives a soft, pleasant texture to the lip balm. Jojoba Oil gives pro-longed, whole day hydration to the lips.

I usually apply lip balm before I head out to work to protect my lips and keep them hydrated. The hydrating power of this lip balm is superb and it feels really lightweight on my if I have nothing there!
The difference between the Lip Ice and the Deep Moist is that when I apply the Lip Ice, it has a tingly icy sensation while the Deep Moist doesn't have that. I would say that the Deep Moist is more suited for people who doesn't want to have something on their lips yet wanting to keep their lips supple at the same time.
It does not has any artificial smell or taste too!
The oval shape applicator does makes it easier to apply the product onto my lips however, I do fine with the normal circle shape applicator either way.

One trick to keep your lips moist is to apply lip balm before you head to bed. I always do that so that I can wake up with soft, smooth lips every morning!
If you're sleeping in an air-conditioned room, you should consider applying lip balm because the air-conditioned environment can be very drying to your lips. Likewise if you're going to be in an air-conditioned room for the day or so, you might want to consider using a lip balm to prevent your lips from drying!
You can also apply it before you put on lipstick so that the lipstick would glide on smoothly instead of showing up with cracks on your lips.

I would definitely recommend Mentholatum Deep Moist because the staying power of the lip balm is really amazing since it contains hyaluronic acid which locks in the moisture!
