Freshkon Alluring Eyes 1-Day Disposable lens Review

I wear spectacles on a regular basis, especially since I'm currently still schooling and I don't find the need to wake up a few minutes earlier just to wear contact lens (Nerds ftw!). However, I do make the effort to doll up every once in a while when I'm attending events or going to town.

I'm a huge fan of circle lenses and I absolutely cannot live without them. Ever since I've started wearing contact lenses at 15 years old, I've been trying out different enlarging lenses and the first circle lens that I bought was the Freshkon Alluring Eyes monthly lens.
Most circle lens in the market currently are monthly lenses and due to my infrequent habit of wearing them, I tend to keep my monthly lenses for three months instead of disposing them after one month! It's really bad for my eyes but I figured since I don't wear lenses often I should be able to get away with it. Over time, monthly lenses tend to get drier after being exposed to the atmosphere too much making your eyes feel uncomfortable, not to mention they might also restrict oxygen flow to your eyes, making it look duller.

I got really excited when I heard that Freshkon was launching daily disposable circle lenses because daily lens would suit my lifestyle better than monthly lenses! I was given the Freshkon Alluring Eyes 1-Day Disposable lens to try and I can say that so far, it's made my life so much easier.

FreshKon Alluring Eyes lens gives a natural look as it comes in a variety of natural shades (black, brown and grey) with defined outline on the lens giving your eyes the bigger, brighter eyes effect. The lens has a hydrophilic (water loving) surface for comfortable wear and 58% water content. In addition, it also contains hyaluronic acid for optimum ocular lubrication and hydration! Ranging from a wide power range of -0.00 to -10.00D, it provides a large optical zone for clear vision. Not only that, the lenses are also UV inhibitor as it blocks 80% of UVA and 96% of UVB.

The diameter of the lens is 14.2mm with a base curve of 8.5mm. To be honest, my previous pair of monthly lenses were 15mm so 14.2mm feels a little small to me. That being said, it does give a more natural enlarging effect as nobody ask me if I'm wearing circle lens when I have them on! With my previous GEO lens, tons of my friends have commented that my eyes are huge and doll-like....in another words, kind of fake lol!

I find that the grey lens are not as intense as black lens since my iris are not full black. In certain lighting, the grey lens gives a mysterious feel in photos which I really like too! I would rate the comfort level of the lens 8/10 as it feels comfortable for about 8 hours before it starts to get a bit dry to me. That being said, it is not recommended that you wear your contact lens for a long period of time too!

What I really love about these lens is the fact that they are portable! I can bring them around with me on travel trips without having to lug the entire bottle of contact lens solution since I can just dispose the lens at the end of the day. These are my go-to lens for clubbing nights or just nights where I will be out till super duper late as I could just throw them away without going through the fuss of washing my lens when I'm exhausted.
The only downside is the cost of the daily lens per box (retailing at about $56 for a box of 30) is more than their monthly counterpart. However, if you were to wear contact lens for about 2 times per month in average (like me!), $56 would last you for a very long time!

Freshkon has been one of my favorite contact lens brand thus far and I would highly recommend you to check out their new Alluring Eyes 1-Day Disposable lens if daily lens suits your lifestyle more! Alternatively, their monthly lens are great too :D
